Dance
Ryan's extensive career as a dancer has led him from studio to film to stage and into the theatre. He is proficient in Jazz Funk/Street Jazz, Jazz and Commercial Dance leading to his success as a commercial dancer locally in Singapore and internationally.
He is also a Choreographer and Dance Instructor and is currently available for masterclasses and workshops.
Agnez Mo Tour
In 2012, Ryan worked alongside LA-based choreographers Dejan Tubic and Janelle Ginestra for Indonesia's pop princess Agnes Monica, the most awarded artist in Asia (with over 350 awards in total). He performed alongside her in-house troupe NezInDaHood for the biggest TV Network in Indonesia, RCTI among other concerts touring Jakarta.
Celebration of Life Tour: Magic of Lawrence & Priscilla
Ryan performed in this large-scale magic production (complete with pyrotechnics, death-defying stunts and vanishing motorcycle) with Lawrence and Priscilla - Asia's first recipients of the Elite Diamond Merlin Award, equivalent to the Oscars of magic. Choreographed by Lisa Keegan, Creative Director of CPG Concepts, one of Asis's largest dance production companies, he has travelled on tour with this company to 10 cities in China, Taiwan and Thailand.
Limited Edition Crew
Created by Andreas Chua, this dance crew has gone on to win multiple competitions since its inception in the early 2000s. Ryan was a member of this all-boy jazz funk crew competing and performing with them in a variety of competitions, most notably season 2 of Mediacorp's talent reality show "The Dance Floor", placing 5th nationwide.

Choreography
Throughout Ryan's career as a dancer and dance educator, he has embraced the role of choreographer in a variety of productions. He has choreographed for commercial gigs, plays and most notably, the Singapore National Day Parade 2017.
Over the years his choreographic process has incorporated his acting and devising experiences and he seeks to highlight the importance of storytelling in all he creates.
Jack Of All Directions
Ryan served as movement director in this original one-man-show by theatre-maker Jeramy Lim at award-winning theatre festival Summer Nights at Blue Room Theatre in Perth, WA in Jan 2023. This show is a coming-of-age story about Joey, a young gay man who travels to Perth before facing true Singaporean adulthood. Ryan was responsible for devising and creating physical montages, blocking and staging direction in this show.
Acting Mad
In this commission for Esplanade's The Studios 2022, Ryan assisted choreographer Edith Podesta in the devising and staging of movement sequences for The Necessary Stage's restaging of Acting Mad. This piece of verbatim theatre was written and directed by Haresh Sharma and featured interviews of Actors and their struggles with mental illness.
Dream Under The Southern Bough - Existence
《南柯一梦》
Ryan created a series of dance pieces, ranging from solo to ensemble, utilizing devising methods to extract vocabulary from actors, to stage epic battles between the Ant Kingdoms of the Southern Bough.
This show was Toy Factory’s redevelopment of Tang Xianzu’s 16th century epic and was the final part of the trilogy that showed at the Singapore International Festival of Arts 2021.
National Day Parade 2017
Ryan was assistant choregrapher working under Chief Choreographer Andy Cai & Director Goh Boon Teck. This project involved conceptualizing choreography and formations for over 3000 performers playing to an audience of 25,000. Other skills involved managing talents and running technical rehearsals.
Never The Bride
Incubated under the The Necessary Stage's Devising with Actors and Playwrights programme, Ryan served as choreographer and movement director alongside collaborators Rajkumar Thiagaras and Fadhil Daud. Movement vocabulary from the actors was used in 2 pieces in the show: A dance with veils, and a movement piece with red thread. This is a work-in-progress to be restaged in 2023.
My Squad Is Better Than Yours (TV Programme)
Ryan conceptualized & created a variety of themed numbers ranging from Hip hop to Jazz for Local Artiste group One:22 in this song and dance reality competition. This group stars local celebs Nat Ho, Fauzie Laily, Darryl Yong & Ebi Shankara,
